1. The service
HandoffPing is a Jira app provided without charge. By installing or using it, the site administrator and users agree to these terms.
2. Installation and access
A Jira site administrator controls installation. Users must have the Jira permissions needed to view the relevant issue and use the app. You are responsible for making sure your use is allowed by your organization.
3. Content you enter
Only enter content you are authorized to process. Do not use reminder messages for passwords, API tokens, secrets, health information, or other sensitive personal data. You remain responsible for the reminder text you provide.
4. Notification limitations
The app asks Jira to queue a native notification. A queued status does not guarantee that an email reaches an inbox. Jira notification preferences, account settings, delivery systems, and mail filtering can affect the final result.
5. Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is, without a service-level commitment or warranty of uninterrupted availability. Features may change, be suspended, or be withdrawn as the product evolves.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the app unlawfully, abusively, to harass another person, to bypass Jira access controls, or to disrupt the security or operation of Jira, Forge, or other systems.
7. Stopping use
You can stop using HandoffPing at any time. A site administrator can uninstall the app. Data handling after uninstall follows the process described in the Privacy Policy.
